These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website https://edindia.org/ (“Website”), operated by Sterlite EdIndia Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Office No. 502, 5th Floor, C Wing, Damji Shamji Corporate Square, Pant Nagar Colony, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai – 400075, India (“EdIndia,” “the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using this Website, submitting any form, subscribing to our newsletter, or otherwise interacting with our online services, you (“User,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website.

2. About EdIndia Foundation

Sterlite EdIndia Foundation works with teacher education institutions, State Councils of Educational Research and Training (SCERTs), District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), school administrators, pre-service teachers, and education systems across India through its Teacher Education Programme, Institutional Strengthening Programme, and Data Analytics Support Programme, and through digital tools such as the akrava app.

3. Eligibility

The Website is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years old, or by minors under the supervision of a parent, guardian, teacher, or educational institution. Where the Website or any linked application (including akrava) is used by pre-service teachers, students, or other individuals under 18, we rely on the responsible educational institution or guardian to ensure appropriate supervision.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Website by, any third party. You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any connected database;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • scrape, copy, or reproduce Website content for commercial redistribution without written permission;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;

The Website may contain links to, or embedded content from, third-party websites and platforms (including YouTube, Google Drive, and social media platforms such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram). EdIndia does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

8. akrava App and Mock Tests

Mock tests, practice content, and preparation resources made available through the akrava app or the Website (including for CTET/TET-related preparation) are intended as supplementary study aids only. They do not guarantee any particular examination result, score, or outcome, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by CBSE, CTET, or any state examination body unless expressly stated.

9. No Warranty

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, EdIndia makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Website or its content, including impact statistics, testimonials, and programme data, which may change over time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EdIndia and its trustees, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
