Enhancing Rural
Development
Data-Driven Decision -Making
in Sepahijala, Tripura
Sepahijala is a small district in the tribal state of Tripura with a population of approx. 5.5L. The State rural development scheme (Mujhyamantri Tripura Gram Samriddhi Yojana) was to be introduced in the district, making the real-time tracking of over 20 rural development parameters necessary.
In Nov 2021, EdIndia collaborated with the District Magistrate office of Sepahijala and established dynamic dashboards for them. These platforms offered visualizations, graphs, and analytics at the district, block, and village levels. To address the technology gap, EdIndia also provided trainings on data entry and data interpretation using visual aids and dashboards.
This collaboration empowered administrative officers to monitor progress, identify improvement areas, and foster positive transformations with accountability. The district officers utilized these insights to pinpoint focus areas, devise action plans, and achieve outstanding results.
