Language skills are not learned in isolation. It is a blend of all these four skills (LSRW). Grammar is always an integrated part of these skills and always taught in context. It is basically learning the rules of language. Second language learners need to learn grammar because they do not get the environment like the native speakers, who can use language without practicing the grammar in the language. The resources in this section will give some ideas on the process of teaching grammar in context and as an integrated part of language skills.
